ENERGETIC.
Tbe general works are proceeding in a satisfactory manner, and the whole, of tbe stamps are fully employed. A contract has been let for extending the upper cross-cut a distance of 100 feet for the sum of £1 10s 6J per foot. Prospecting in the main level cross-cut is still going on, and the new shaft is now down about eight feet.
