Dr. Lowk, Medical Missionary in India, reports (December, 1865) :— •• That in nearly every case of Cholera in which Dr. J. Coins Beowne's Chlorodyne was administered, the patient recover^." Extract from the Medical Times, January 12, 1866 : — "Clorodyne is prescribed by scores of orthodox medical practitionors. Of course, it would not thus be singularly popular, did t not ' supply a want and fill a place.' " Extract from the General Uourd of Health, London, as to its efficacy in Cholera : — " 80 strongly convinced are we ol the immense value of this remedy, that we cannojt too forcibly urge tho necessity of adopting it in all eases."
