While our columns will be open at all times to the discussion of matters of " legitimate public interest, 'it will be clearly undentood that we are in no way whatever identified with the views of our corespondents . All correspondence intended for insertion in this column must be accompanied by the real name of the writer t merely as a 'guar* aiitee of good faith. In order to avoid, future annoyance, we desire ■ to state definitely that, under no circumstance whatever will our Court reports be citrtailed of withheld. Letters to the ISdHdr must be enclosed in an envelope artd left at the office not later than 11 a.m. on the day preceding publication. 2fo verbal communication will be held with correspondents in reference to their communicitions, as intimation of the acceptance or rejection of letters can only be given in the regular way through the paper. <
