The Financial Statoment came through last' night, or rather this morning, but too lato to bo available for our present issuo. We are glad to noto, howovor, that provision is mado for tbo construe* tion of the Amberley and Brunnerton railway, ns also tho Hokitika and Greymouth lino. Tho cost of the former in set down at £950,000, and the latter at £220,000.
