Tbey aro now cutting out ft cliambor preparatory to starting, nnd should the roof continue down, according lo expectations, during tbo time of sinking, it is tho intention of tbo compiny to substitute (ho present modo of win ling wbieb is dono by horse power, and therefore both ■dow snd expensive, by constructing a reversible wator wheel.
