GOLDEN TREASURE.
The mine is now capitally opened up, and as stone for nearly 100 feet in length has been made available for getting out, there seems nothing in the way to interrupt continuous crushing. A landslip, wh'ch took place during the recent heavy rains, on the bill in the vicinity of the tunnel caused some expense, but the inconvenience which it occasioned has been got rid of, and every precaution taken to prevent a repetition. The battery started late in the week, and appearances so far leave no possible doubt as to the payable* ness of the yield. In fact there is every* ■, thing to warrant tbe jubilation now cur* rent, amongst resident shareholders.
