During a ball last night on board the barque Excelsior lying at port, the crew made an unprovoked attack on the officers who were engaged in the festivities. They used belaying pins, maulin spikes, and revolvers. The mate was fired at but the shot missed him. All the other officers were wounded more or less severely on the head, and the captain received a serious blow on the right temple. After a great struggle the mutineers were arrested, and will be charged at the Police-Gou-rt to-day, London, January 28. Arrived— Northumberland from Melbourne yesterday. The Lord Mayor of Dublin attended the Duke of Marlborough's levee to day, notwithstanding the latters refusal to be present at the Mayor's banquet. .Rome, January 28.
