All Lands alienated from tbe Crown after the coming mtc operation of " The Land Transfer Act. 1870," are subject to, and must be dealt, with, in manner prescribed by the Act. The following are examples f the fee payable for I ringing the land under the pro visions of the Lund Transfer Act:— 1. Under the Regulations in force on and after the Ist January", 187^, the charge for Certificates ot Titles issued upon Memoranda of 'Jiansfer is reduced to Ten Shillings in all ciues where the value of the land ia under 'leu Tounds. Tbe total cost of executing a mortgage or leaso of land, registered uuder the Act, is 'J welve Shillings, uo ujatter what the amount j involved. The following are some of the advantages conferred by the Land Transfer system :— ■ 1. It secures the principal benefits and advantages sought to oe attained in the system ol registration of deeds. 2.
