-i ♦— — — (Before Mr Warden Eevell.) James Taylor applied for leave to construct a water-ra-e at Boatman's Creek, about a mile from the Just-in Time machine. No objection. Granted. Sullivan and Scsny applied for registration of bead and tail-race at Boatman's, terminating in Flower's G-ully.^ Granted. D. Morrison applied for drainage avea in Lantey's Creek, The application was objected to by J. Oochrane and D. Mathesoi i Dugald Matheson said he was registered for two heads of water in Lankeys, and if Mor» rieon got his right, witness* supply would be cut off. There was very little water in the | gully in dry weather — sometimes not more than half a head. The application wou'd | draw off .all the drainage from the head of the gnlly. James Cocbrane said he had applied for a race out of the stream?, which applicant sought to divert. D. Morrison said there was a little stream within the area applied for, but it was only running in wet weather. Be would be prepared to return the water to Matheson. Refused.
