Under the Regulations in force on and a(tei the Ist January, 187^, the' charge for Certificates of Titles issued upon Aiemorsnda oi 'Jransfer is reduced to leu Shillings in all cases where the value of the land ia under Ten Pounds. The total cost of executing a mortgage oi lease of land, registered uuder the Act, ia J welve Shillings, no mutter w'wt the amount involved. A mortgage may be transferred or discharged, or a lease trarsferred or sarrenuercd lorlivs Shillings. THESE OPERATIONS INVOLVE NO DELAY. The following are some of the advantages conferred by tbe Land Transfer sjste_i ; — 1. It secures the principal benefits aad advantages sought to De attained in the system of registration of deeds. 2. It renders retrospective investigatiou o title unnecessary as to all Jai.d re gistered. 8, It simplifies the Titles to Real Pi w pe:t> Joi the future 4. It makes purchasers of tbe fee and leases perfectly secure. b. It simplifies, to the utm vit possibk extent, the terms o transfer and the modes pi conveyance. 6. It iipreases the saieab'e value of land. 7- It ieuds to lower tie rate o> interest on lpanß secured on lands. 8. It gives facilities for the sak oi lar^e estates in allotments. ° D.
