A COMPLAINT.
[TO THE BDITOE INAKQAHtTA TIMES.] Sib, —The foot track leading pas.t the Catholic Scbool along Wabh-street to Dick-street has proved to be of great convenience to residents in the neigl • bourhood, as it affords the only means of communication with the more favoured parts o£ the town ; but alas!, a cod-. tinuance of the small advantage we>have.. thereby enjoyed is now about being denied the dwellers of oar quiet and rural retreat. An, enterprising but ael* fish wood merchant has discovered our narrow path, and is now engaged in i totally destroying it with a horse and dray, which he is allowed to run on it. In a few more days we will have fallen hick into our primitive condition of utter isolation, and we will again be entirely cut off from the ameliorating influences of civilised city life and institutions, which some two years ago were brought within our reach. Trusting that a wise, just, and progress loving County Council I will prevent the occurrence of such a deplorable relapse by prohibiting one single individual from thus destroying the happiness of rnanj . — I am, sir, &c, I b'tfBUBBAN SyIVANUS. ■ Keefton, 6th July, 1880.
