CERTIFICATES OF TITLE ARE ABSOLUTELY IE DEFEASIBLE. ALL TITLES ARE GUARANTEED BI TLE GOVERNMENT. On all Conveyances by Deed under the old system, tbe cost ol registration in the Deeds Registry, oyer aud above tbe Solicitor's charge, is never less tban Fifteen Shillings, frequently very much more; while land which bas beeu bought under the provisions of "The Laud Transier Act " can be transferred at a total cost of Eleven Shillings where a wbole section iscouveyed ; and wbere only partis conveyed (and therefore a fiesh Certificate of Title is i.eceesitated), of Thinty-onc Shillings, which is the highest sum allowed by tbe Act, no matter what tbe yalue or area of tbe land. Under the Regulations in force on and after the Ist January, lS7i. the charge for Certificates of Titks issued upon Memoranda o_ Transfer is reduced to Ten Shillings m ali cases wbere the value of the laud is under Ten Pounds.
