[PEE PBES3 Melbourne. July 14. Many election meetings held during (lie past week have been characterised by rowdyism, especially" in Melbourne and tlio suburbs, Mr Berry addressed a meeting on the 10;h and violently attacked Mr Service nnd the Ministry. He was much infer* i upted— several fights took place. &c., and n number of persons were ejected. Two days later a dense crowd at the Town Hall, Prahran, refused to hear Mes«rs Career and Harris, the Ministerial candidates, and finally rushed the platform. The meeting ended in great disorder. At CoHingwood, on the 7th, tho same exhibition of larrikinism took place. Mr Coppin was unable to speak and Ibis meeting also ended in disorder. The Argus states that before resigning.
