The Irish population is, at the end of May, 6,363,500, {having been reduced again during the last! three months by emigration. This brings it back almost to the number oMPO3-6,216.320, since which time it has continued to increase. Tbe lowest recorded total, however, was in 1875, or 6,209,494. The^emigration is on the increase.
