All Lands alienated from the Crown after the coming intc operation of " Tlte Laud Transfer Act. 1870," are subject to, and must be deal*- with, in manner prescribed by the. Act. The following are examples f the fee payable for t-iiuging tl\e land under the pro visions of the Land Transfer Act: — 1. Credit for Fees is Given, When desired by the Api licaut ie all cases where tbe proprietor applies to have the land registered under the Act in his own mirce, and the fets may remain uupt't until laud is dealt with. Any person, therefore, who wishes to bring his land under the provisions of the Act, in order thai whenever he deals with it he m:iy be in a position to avail himselt of the facilities afforded by haviug a Registered Title, can do so W 1 it!*. out Any Present Cost, by allowing the fees, to remain unpaid until such dealing takes 'place. He will then be in a position to Mortgage, Transfer, Lease, or otherwise deal "with his land at a momeut's notice. ": Any Title, however long and complex, may be investigated at a dost to the Applicant of only Five Shillings j for if the Title is reected all fees are retiirned, with the exceptiou of that amoupt. I CEETIFICATES OF TITLE ARE AHEOLUTELY INDEFEASIBLE. ALL TITLES ARE GUARANTEED BY TUE GOVERNMENT. On all Conveyances by Deed under, the old system, the cost of registration in the Deeds Registry, over and ahove the Solicitor's charge, is never less than Fifteen Shillings, frequently very much more j while land which has been bought under the provisions of " The Laud Transfer Act " can be transferred at a total cost of Eleven Shillings where a whole se jtion is conveyed; and where ouly partis conveyed (and thereiore a iresji Certificate ox Title is necessitated), of r ihinty-one Shillings, which is the highest Bum allowed by the Act. jio matter what the value or area of the laud. Uiuier the Regulations in force ou and after the Ist January, 187^, the charge for Certificates of Titles issued upon ilemoranj.u o! Transfer is reduced to Ten Shillings in ali cases where the value of the laud is uiuier Ten Pounds. t The total cost of executing a mortgage or leaso of laud, registered under the Act, is Twelve Shillings, uo matter wfost the amount involved.
