We understand that the County Council have made arrangements with their bankers for an advance sufficient to enable them to satisfy immediate obligations, and keep tbe wolf from the door until such time aB the ordinary revenue begins to flow in: It ia not. however, the intention to proceed with any new works until the whole of the existing liabilities have been wiped out.
