INANGAHUii COUNTY COUNCIL. WHEREAS tbe InangaLua County Council at a meeting held on the 19tbdayof Aflgust, 1880, pursuant to tbe powers conteyed by seotion 107 of " Tbe Counties' Act, 1876," and in exercise of the samp, and of all other powers in this behalf (hem enabling— Resolved : " That a Qeneral Bate on all Rate* able property within the said County, for carrying into effect the general purposes of the said Act, phould be made and levied '■ in accordance with tbe said Act, and fhe " Rating Act, 1876."
And where s in and by the said resolution the Cou icil resolved that tbe said Bate should 1 c made and levied as afore said, for the i eriod of one year from the j 2nd day of 0 tober, 1880, and should be paid in one s m, and that tbe amount of such Rate slould be the sum of One Shilling in tb pound ou tbe values of the Rateable Pro >erty as appearing on tbe Valuation Bo now in force in the County aforesaid. N >tice, therefore, is hereby given pnrsui nt to the povisions of tbe lust mentione I Act, that the said Council on Wednesdi y, the 15th day of September, now inst tnt, intend to make acd levy such Bate, aid to order and direct that the amount hereof shall be the sum of One Shilling in the pouuer on tbe values aforesaid ; tl st tbe said Bate shall be for the period of One Year from Ibedateof the making and levying thereof, and shall be paid, n one sum on Thursday, the 7th day >f October, now next ensuing ; and n tice is hereby further given that the Bate Book is open for inspection, as in an< byithe last mentioned Act provided.
