No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race unles he be subcribpr to the race fund of not less than 2 soys. Hack, novel, and trotting races excepted. In the event of any person entering a protest, the sum of £2 2s mubt be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sum to be forfeited to the fund should the stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexations.
