WELCOME MINE.
In this mine sixteen hands fire ems ployed opening stopes on the reef north ani south of the No. 2 shaft, and also driving intermediate on a good body of stone of excellent quality. The company will commence to send down stone to tbe machine paddock in a few days. In the Ko. G level, the reef is about eighteen inches in thickness, and has every indicalion of becoming a well-defhed lode. This discovery greatly enhances tbe v.ilue of Ibis company's property. TLe distance driven, si'ice the reef was inter* sected, is about eight feet. The depth of backs between this and No. 5 level is 235 feet.
