Proposed by Mr Davies, that, the subject matter of Mr Mindarmann's letter respecting the placing of a good punt on ihe river, ba referred to Hie Ferries Committee.- Seconded by Mr Syrae, and carried. Proposed by Mr Byrne, seconded .by Mr Bronnan. and carried, that ihe EngU neor be instructed fo get the ferns cut on the- short trade to BoaimWs, and to have provision m»de to Hun off the rain water from the same portion of the track.
