On all Conveyances by Deed under the old system, the cost of registration in the Deed* Kegistry, over and above the Solicitor's charge, is Lever less than Fifteen Shillings, frequently very much irtore ; while land %vhich ha3 beeu bought under the provisions of " The Land Trausi'er Act" can be transferred at a total cost of Eleven Shillings where a whole section is conveyed ; and where only partis conveved (and therefore a iresh Certificate of Tide is liecessitated), of Thinty-one Shillings, which ia the highest sum allowed by the Act, jio matter what the value or area of the lund.
