The following are examples f the fee payable for bringing the land under the pro visions af the Land Transfer Act i — 1. Thesa charges also represent the cost of Conveying Land. Inastnucn as applicants to bring land under the Act can direct the Certificates of Title to uaue in the names of any other persons. Credit for Fees is Given, When desinid by the Applicant in all cases j where the proprietor applies to have the land i registered under the Act in his own name, | and the few may remain unp t't until land is dealt with. An; person, therefore, who wishes to bring bis land under the provision* of the Act, in order tha« whenever he deals with it he snuy be in a position to avail himself of the facilities aflbrded by having a Registered Title, can do so Witkout Any Present Cost, by allowing the fees to remain unpaid until such dealing takes place. He will then be in a position to Mortgage, Transfer, Lease, or otherwise deal with his land at a moment's notice. Any Title, however long and complex, may be investigated at a coat to the Applicant of only Five Shillings ; for if the Title is reected all fees ere returned, with the exception oi tha lan-ouut. CERTIFICATES OF TITLE ARE ABSOLUTELY INDEFEASIBLE. ALL TITLES ARE GUARANTEED BY THE GOVERNMENT. On all Conveyances by Deed under the old system, the cost of registration in the Deeds Registry, over and above the Solicitor's charge, is never less than Fifteen Shillings, frequently very much more; while land which has beeu': bought under the provisions of "The Lund Transfer Act " can be transferred at a total cost of .Eleven Shillings where a whole section is conveyed; and where .only partis conveyed (and therefore a iresh Certificate of Title- is veceesitated), of 'iiunty-onc Shillings, wltich 18 the highest sum allowed by the Act, no matter what the value or area of the land. The following are some of the advantages conierred by the Land Transfer system :— 1. It secures the principal benefits and advantages Bought to De attained in the system of registration of deeds. 2.
