Intimidation of landlords in Ireland by evicted tenants and leaguers continues wiihou!; abatement, and fresh forms of outrage are beard almost daily, especially against landlords who bave been ostracised bf the people of disturbed districts. The latest form of intimidation by leaguers is the prevention of the export of cattle by landlords againafe whom they have spite, and several eases in which cattle intended for export have been pre« vented from leaving farmers, are To" ported. The Judges of the Irish Supreme Court have received letters threaten" ing them with murder, if they convict the- land leaguers at their approaching trial for conspiracy. Professor ITawcett, the PostmasterGeneral, has now under consideration a project for the institution of a parcel post between England and the Australia n Colonies.
