All Lands lienated from the Crown affer the coming ate operation of " The Land Traasfer A . 1870," are subject to, and must be dea with, in manner prescribed by the Act. The following are examples f the fee payable for bringing the land under the pro visions of the Lnnd Transfer Act: — 1. When the Title consists of a Grant, dated ou or subsequent to the 28th December, 1841, none of the land included in which has been dealt with — SThere the Certificate of title is directed to issue in tbe name of . the A vacant : Value of laud £ICO £i) 11 2 Where the Certificate of title is directed to issue in the name of the Purchaser: Value of land £100 1 10 0 These charges are increased by 4s 2d (Assurance Fund) for every additional £100 in value. 2. These charges, also represent the cost of Conveying Land. Incsmuch as applicants to bring land under the Act can direct the Certificates of Titie to issue in the names of any other persons. Credit for Fees ia Given, When desired by the Applicant in nil cases where the proprietor applies to have the laud registered under the Act in lug own name, and the fe?s may remain unp t't until land is dealt with. Any person, therefore, who- wishes to bring his land under the provisions of the Act, in '. order that whenever he deals with it he may \ be in a position to avail himself of the ; facilities afforded by having a Eegistered Title, can do co Witkout Any Present Cost, . by allowing the fees to remain unpaid until such dealing tafces place, lie will then be in a position to Mortgage, Transfer, Lease, • or otherwise deul with his laud at a moment's notice. Transfer Act " can be transferred tit a torul cost of Eleven Shillings where a whole section • is conveyed ; and where only pwt is conveyed (and therefore a Iresh Certificate of Title is ; necessitated), of 'l'hinty-oiie Shillings, which is the highest sum allowed by the Act, no matter what the yalue or area of the land. • Under the Regulations iv force on ana after the Ist January, 18723, the charge for Certificates of Titles issued upon Memoranda of Transfer is reduced to Ten Shillings in all cases where the value of tho land i 3 under Ten Pounds.
