The Speaker of the House of Com* monfl has adopted further stringent rules for the suppression of disorder in the House, which have caused indignation to the Eadical and Irish members. 18. Mr Gladstone announced in the House of Commons last night that the Govern* ment proposed to bring the debate in committee on the Irish Coercion Bill to a close on Monday next. The announcement was npt well re<ceived by the Irish members, a number of whom protested against the consideration of measures being curtailed. It is announced that in addition to tlie detached squadron, the flying squadron is also under orders to proceed to the Cape. Stephens, Ihe former Fenian head centre, is now in Paris. Mr Parnell has issued a letter to the Land League at Dublin, in which he urges the members to maintain a passive attitude of resistance to the Coercire measures proposed to be adopted by the Government in Ireland, and to use every means to foster agrarion agitation erf the masses, net only in Ireland but through* out Great Britain. The belief which existed that Parnell had gone to Paris is now confirmed, He

News has been received that the corps under Evelyn Wood has reached Sir George'Ool ley's camp at Ingogo, and the rest of the reinforcements from Durban have arrived at Newcastle, and a junction of all the troops is expected to be effected at once.
