Tbe term " County horse " shall be under* stood to mean any horse, the bona fide property of persons resident in the County for a terra of not less than three calendar months before tbe date of the race, of a person residing within the County of Inangahua. Night of general entry, to be 14th of March. • No entry will be received for any of the races, except on this condition, that all disputes, claims, and objections, ari«ing out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or thote whom they, may appoint, their decisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary. Entrance money and qualification enclosed with the name, age, and pedigree of the horse— name of the owner, and colours of the rider. No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race, unless he be a subscriber to the race fund of not less than one guinea. No horse that has won publio money (£10) is qualified to enter for the Hack Baoe, Farmer's Plate, or Saddle and Bridle Race. In the event of any person entering a pro* test, the sum of £2 2s must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sum to be forfeited to tbe funds should the Stewarde consider the protest frivolous or yexatious. Three horses must start for each event, or the public money will not be given. Mares allowed 61bs; geldings, 31bs. All stakes paid less 5 per cent. Danedju Jockey Club Rules.
