The term " County horse " shall be understood to mean any horse, the bona fide property of persons resident iu the County fora terra of not less than three caiendar months before the date of the race, of a person residing within the County of Inangahua. No entry will be received for any of the racfts, except on this condition, that all disputes, claims, and objection?, arising out of the racing shall be decided bv the Stewards, or those whom they may appoint, their decision* upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. In the event of any person entering a protest, the sum of £2 23 must be lodged with I the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sura to be forfeited to the fuuds ! should the Stewards consider tho protest i frivolous or yssatious. j Three horses must start for each event, or the public money will not be given.
