BULE9 AND REGULATIONS, All races to be open to County horses only. The term " County borse " shall be understood to mean any horse, the boua fide property of persons resident in the County lor a term of not less than three calendar months before the date of the race, of a person residing within the County of Inangahua. Night of general entry, to be 14th of March. No entry will be received for any of the races, except on this condition, that all disputes, claims, and objections, arising out of the raoing shall be decided by the Stewards, or those whom they may appoint, their decisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of thU programme shall be final. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary. Entrance money and qualification enclosed with the name, age, and pedigree of the horse — name of the owner, and colours of the rider. No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race, unless he be a subscriber to the race fund of not less than one guinea. No borse that has won publio money (£10) is qualified to enter for the Hack Bace, Fanner's Plate, or Saddle and Bridle Race. In the event of any person entering a pro* test, the sum of £2 2s must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sum to be forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Three horses must start for each event, or the public money will not be given. Mares allowed slbs ; geldings, 31ba. All stakes paid less 5 per cent. Dunediu Jockey Club Rules.
