RULES AND REGULATIONS, All races to be open to County horses only. The term " County horse " shall be under* stood to mean any horse, the bona fide property of persons resident in the County for a term of not less than three calendar months before the date of the race, of a per.-oa residing within the County, of Inungahua. Night of general entry, to be 14th of March. No entry will be received for any of the races, except on tbis condition, that all disputes, claims, and objections, arising out of the racing shall be decided bv the Stewards, or those whom they may appoint, their decisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be fiuul. AH entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary. Entrance money and qualification enclosed with the name, age, and pedigree of the horse — name of the owner, and colours of the rider. No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race, unless he be a subscriber to the race fundot not less than one guinea. No horse that has won public money (£10) is qualiGed to enter for the Hack itace, Farmer's Plate, or Saddle and Bridle Race. In the event of any person entering a proteßt, the sum of £2 2s must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, tbis sum to be forfeited to the fuuds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious.
