Patrick Brennan applied for the Occi* dental Company for a lease in Little Boatman's. 'Objected to by John Low, who stated that no pegs have been put in or trenches cut since the survey two years ago. The ground I apply foe lies between two portions of their lease ; I pegged out my claim on seeing the notice, and finding that the ground was not properly pegged out. Patrick Brennan said I have nothing more to state beyond what is contained in the application. The ground now under notice has been inadvertently omitted from the lease held by the Occidental Company, and this application is made to include the whole of the ground. Application recommended, and Low and party's application for a quartz claim refused, as a proper mode had not been followed by that party, who only marked out the ground after application had been made by the Occidental Com* pany. Long Time, applied for a water*race, and tail-raoe, at Landing Creek ; granted. The Court then adjourned.
