It shall he my endeavor to see Ihiit West Coast suitors obtain justice in the local Courts, the Supreme Court being at present all but inaccessible. I consider the present sys'em of State Secular Education excellent, but Colonial interests require economy therein^ At the same time, schools on Goldfields which are so isolated, musf, as I have always said, be strictly and efficiently maintained. However, if returned, the compliment will be the greater, and my long residence on the West Coast having thoroughly familiarised me with the wants of ihe people, I will unceasingly work for the interests qf the Elep.tqr.ate throughout.
