All Lands lienated from the Crown after Ihe coming ate operation of " Tho Lund Transfer A 1870," are subject to, and must bedea with, in manner prescribed by tho Act. The following arc examples f the fee payable for bringing the land under the pic visions of the Land Transfer Act: — 1. When (he Title consists of a Grant, dated on or subsequent to the 28th December, 1841, none of the land included in which haßbecn dealt with — Where the Certificate of title is directed to issue in trie name of the A iplicant : Value of land £100 £xj 11 2 Where the Certificate of title is directed to issue in the name of the Purchaser: Value of land £100 1 10 0 Theee charges are increased, by 4s 2<l (Assurance Fund) for every additional £i()0 in value. 2. On all Conveyances by Deed under the old system, the cost of registration in the Deeds Kegistry, over and above the Solicitor's charge, is never less than Fifteen Shillings, frequently rery much more; while laud wnich has been bought under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act" can be transferred at a total cost of Eleven Shillings where a whole section is conveyed j and where only partis convened (and therefore a fresh Corfificute of Title is j rjeceesitated), of Thinty-one Shillings, which is the highest sum allowed by the Act, no matter what the value or area of the land. Under the Regulations in force on and after the Ist January, 187k, the charge for Certificates of Titles issued upon JiiomoranM ol Transfer is reduced to Ten Shillings in all cages where the value of the land is umicr Ten Pounds.
