The following are examples f the fc payable for bringing the land under the pn visions of the Land Transfer Act: — 1. When five Title consist 3of a Grant, date* on or subsequent to the 28th December 1841, none of the land included in whicl has been dealt with — Where the Certificate of title is directed to issue in the name of the A lplicant : Value of land £100 ... ft) 11 J Where the Certificate of title is directed to issue in the name of the Purchaser : Value of land £100 1 10 f These charges are increased by 4s 2d (Assurance Fund) for every additional £100 in value. 2. These charges also represent the cost o.' . .Conveying Land. Inasmuch as applicants to bring land under the Act can direct the Certificates of Title to issue in the names of any other persons. Credit for Fees is Given, When desired by the Api licant in all cases where the proprietor applies to have the land registered under the Act in his own intrpe, and the ft?B may remain unpi'i until land is dealt with. _ Any person, therefore, who wishes to bring his land under the provisions of Mie Act, iv order that -whenever he deals with it he miy be in a position to avail himself of the facilities alTorded Tjy having a Registered Title, can do so Without Any Present Cost, by allowing the fees to remain unpaid until such dealing takes place. He will then bo in a position to Mortgage, Transfer, Lease, or otherwise deal with his laud at a moment's notice. . Under the Regulations in force on and after the Ist January, IS7^, the charge for Certificates of Titles issued upon Slcmoran:!a ol 'Jrnnsfer is reduced to Ten' Shillings in aii cases where the value of the land 13 under Ten Pounds. The following are some oi the advantages conierred by the Land Transfer sysre^i :— 1. It secures the priucipai beiiciits and advantages sought to De attained 111 the ; system of registration of deeds. 2.
