LICENSING BENCH.
♦ [to the editor ikangahua tikes.] Sib.— ln your issue of July Ist appears a report of the case Police t, Waite. in which the witness Annie SToung states, " A row commenced at Waite's : house at 2 o'clock on Sunday morning ; Waite tried to put Kennedy out." I contradict tbe statement as far as regards myself, I left Waite's bouse on Saturday night at about 11 o'clock in company of two neighbouring diggers, and never tried to put me out. I ma y state that this is not written in the interest of Mr Waite, but with tte sole view of doing justice to myself. — »I am, &c. A. J. Kennedy. Inangahua Junction, July 17, 1881.
