The latest thing in tricycles is by the Rev Charsley, mathemathical lecturer at Oxford called the •yelociman.' It can be propelled in fifteen different ways, the most powerful being a motion analogous to rowing. It can be actuated by eitber hands or feet or both at once in various ways, so that rest can be obtained without stopping. The ' facile ' bicycle is another new instrument, in which itis stated that a mile bas been done io 3 mm 28secs. One feature in this latter machine is tbat ' it can go over a brick without an accident.'
