AT an adjourned apecial meeting of the Council held at the Council Chambers, Reefton August Ist, 1881, it was resolved on tbe motion of Councillor Williams, seconded by Councillor Trennery — Tbat the Council doth by this resolution make and levy a separate rate of three pence in the pound on the annual value of sll rateable property as appearing in the, valuation roll for tbe time being in fotca within that portion of the Riding of Reefton as defined by tbe following boundaries, viz— On the north by the right-of-way between Shiel-street and Church street ; on the south by the Inangahua river ; on tbs east by Donovan-street and on tbe west by Hampden road ; and the said tate is hereby made : That it be for a period of one year commencing on the Ist day of September, 1881 ; and tbat it be pajable in one som on the 7th day of September. 1881. and this resolution is hereby declared to be a separate order of the said Council.
