Telegrams to band from Afghabistnn announce that Ameer Abdul Rahman is 1 now at Khelat engaged in massing troop* from the surrounding country, Dillon, M.P., for Connty of Tipperary. , who was arrested on the 2nd May last i under the Irish Coercion Act, and who > ha' been lodged in Kilmainham Gaol since the date named, was to*day released from custody, [ I7kw Yobk, August 8. , A largely attended meeting was held at Chicago to day, under the auspices of the " Irish Revolution Congress," at which the condition of Ireland, and actions of " uT? ! T3ncisß^WßtW!raicauTff l^!JlnreßJsn™ with that country were discussed in vio* lent and inflammatory language, and use of firearms and explosives as a means of redress were freely recommended. It is stated that this " Congress " is engaged in drawing up a programme for future action, in which dynamite will have a prominent place.
