JUST-IN-TIME.
The bottom level from the winze has been constructed a distance of about 40 feet north, where the reef shows a thick* ness of 6 feet. The driving is very hard, and the contractors have made but small progress. On tendering for the work they had evidently under estimated the value, and are now on the point of abandoning the contract. The wages men under the direction of the manager are raising stone from the stopes and filling the paddock.
