JUST-IN-TIME.
The drive at the bottom of the winze going north shows seven feet of stone in the face, carrying fair gold. The ground has changed, and is now much easier driving. This level is being extended by wages hands— Eddy and. party having abandoned their contract. The reef in the north stope is from 3 to 5 feet in thickness, and the quality of stone is unchanged. Fifty tons have been added to the paddock during the week. Crush-* ing will bo commenced immediately niter the cleaning up by tho Fiery Cross, for which company the mill will be employed for about fourteen days.
