August Ist, 1881, it was resolved on the motion of Councillor Williams, seconded by Councillor Trennery— That the Council doth by this ieeolution make and levy a separate rate of three pence in the pound on the annual value of all rateable property as appearing in the valuation roll for the time being in force within that portion of the Biding of Keefton as defined by the following boundaries, viz— On the north by tbe right-of-way between Sbiel-street and Church street ; on tbe south by tbe Inangahua river ; on ths east by Donovan-street and on the west by Hampden road ; and the said rate is hereby made : That it bo for a period of one year commencing on the Ist day of September, 1381 ; and tbat it be payable in one sum on the 7th day of September. 1881. and this resolution is hereby declared to be a special order of the said Council. Notice i& hereby given that tbe above rote will be due as above stated and that the game must be paid to the Bate Collector or at tbe office of the Council, Keefton, on the date named. INANGIHUA COUNTY COUNCIL^ A SPECIAL MEETING of the J\_ Council will be held at tbe Chambers, Smith-street, Reefton, on FRIDAY, the 2nd day of September, proximo, at 8 p.m.— Business, to confirm the foilowine resolution :— Moved by Councillor Williams, seconded by Councillor Trennery and carried, that the Council doth by this resolution make add levy a Separate Rate of Threepence in the Pound, on the annual yalue of ail rateable property, as appearing in tbe Valuation Rol! for the time being in force, within that portion of the Riding of Iteefton, as defined by the following boundaries), viz., on the north by tbe right-of-way between Shielxstreet and Church-sireefc, on the south by the Inangahua River, on the east by Doe o van street, and on tbe west by Hampden Road, and tbe said rate is hereby made, that it be for a period of one year commencing on the Ist day of September. 1881, and that it be payable in one sum on the 7th day of September, 1881, and this resolution is hereby declared to be a special order of the said Council.
