JUST-IN-TIME.
After a crushing of seven days, during which 130 tons of quartz was milled, a rough scraping of top-plates wa3 made to-day, and the very satisfactory return of 3190zs of amalgam obtained. This is a very gratifying yield, as ordinarily the first weeks crushing does not show a3 well on the plates as subsequent treat* ment, owing to the tact that during this period the boxes retain more gold then the averago quantity duriug the crushing, and it may confidently be calculated that the stone has averaged 30dwt to tho ton. Only. 10-head of stampers have been used, and the same number will again "be employed ou resuming on Monday morn*, ing.
