Tlie fallowing are samples f the fee payable for i-ringing the land under the pro visions of the Land Transfer Act:— 1. These charges also represent the cost of I Conveying Land. Inaemucn as applicants to briDg land under the Act cau direct the Certificates of Title to issue in the names of any other persons. Credit for Fees is Given, When desired by the Api licant in all cases where the proprietor applies to have the land registered under the Act in his own name, and the fets may remain unpi't until la 3d is dealt with. Any person, therefore, who wishes to bring his land under the provisions of the Act, in order thai whenever he deals with it he mny be in a position to avail himself of the facilities allbrded by having a Registered Title, can do so Wilkout Any Present Cost, by allowing the fees to remain unpaid uutii such dealing takes place. He will then be in a position to Mortgage, Transfer, Lease, or otherwise deal with his land at a monieut's notice. Any Title, however long and complex, may be investigated at a cost to the Applicant of only Five Shillings ; for if the Title is reected al Iftes are returned, with the exception oi tha laiLOUDt. CEKTIFICATES~F TITLE ARE ABSOLUTELY INDEFEASIBLE. all titles are guaranteed bi the Government. On all Conveyances by Deed under the old system, the cost of registration in the Deeds Registry, over and above the Solicitor's churge, is never less than Fifteen .Shillings, frequently yery much Jiiore; while land which has been bought under the provisions of " The Land Transler Act" can be transferred at a total cost of Jtleven Shillings where a whole section is conveyed ; and where only partis conveyed (and therefore a lreah Certificate of Title is recessitatedh of Thinty-one Shillings, which is the highest Wm allowed by the Act, no matter what the value O r area of the land. Lnder the Regulations in force on and alter the Ist January, 187*, the charge for Ceriilieates ol Titles issued upon ilemorau J .a 01 lnuisfer is reduced to Tea Shillings iv ail caees where the value of the land v under ltn founds. Th « total cost of executing a mortgage or lease of land, registered uuder the Act, is lwelve Shillings, no matter wUat the amount involved. A mortgage may be transferred or discharged, or v lease twrsferred or surrendered lor live Shillings. THESE OPERATIONS INVOLVE NO DELAY.
