KEEP IT -DAKK.
A distance of 14 feet has now been reached from the point, where the reel was first struck in the lowest level of the mine without any signs as yet of the opposite wall; and as the lode is being cut at right angles to its course every additional foot driven heightens the imporportance of the find, inasmuch as it demonstrates the vast extent and the in* creased value of the reef at this level Gold is freely to ba seen in the stone throughout but that portion, which is now being penetrated, is far superior to the stove first met with and some really excellent specimens were detached to-day ond sent to the office. The prospects o the mine at present look very bright, indeed, with a strong probability, amounting almost to a certainty, that further operations during u-xt week will disclose such features as will establish the value and permanency of the mine on a basis never before attained even during its best days.
