From it we abridge the following in reference to the Cup : — The following horses started and finished in the order named : — Zulu, Czar, Sweetmennt, Wellington, Pava--1 naka. First "Water, Sir Mod red, Suwarrow, Odd Trick, Waterloo, Bithurst, the Wandering Jew, Trump YOBB, Chatterer, Dart bin, Wheatear, Pawnbroker, Banclr.lbien, Oiwswick. Somnus, Orient Canary, Pollio, Guiue.-t Waxy. Carmen, Cooreena. Grey--hound, Spectre, Santa Claus, Duchess, The Cockney, Oxalia. I Coreena bolted twice before reach- j ing the post, and, delayed the start j for some time, Afier a very little ; delay, when they were got together j the horsps were sent away. S Knnus held his p!aca in the lead along by the nyer, and till they reached the far turn, where Bathurpt j and Darebin were well up, the dust ! obscuring the close body thai followed | them. Ad they rouuied the turn, ! Zulu, who hod been goins* up to the ! Uaders, on the inside, but was not seen for Hie duat, suddenly shoe out hi the front, soon after Pawnbrokers ! joined him on the outside. Somnu*, ! Darebin, and < Yir were showing at tho head of the others »vho were* were following id a close body. Zulu came on with a decided lead as they approached the sheds, and was going strong aud well within himself. Tlic?n came Waxy, Coreena, Czar, Sweetmeat, and Darebin were next, iv that order, and closely packed. Afi thy half-mile post Wheatear fell, and neariog the home Snwarrow fell, and broku bis rider's leg. Zulu entered the straight w:th a place. Trump Yoss was comiug up hit showing close behind him Czar, Bitt.hurcl, Somuus, Creswick, and Orient weru next m that order, and all cio.s* together. In the straight Waxy tired aud was passed by The Czar, who came on grainelv, but tailed to reach Zulu, who won by a length. Sweetmeat, who came fast at the ftiish, secured toird place. \V\ixy w.»* fourth. Orient fifth, Fit*t Water sixth, OJd Trick seventh, and Chatterer eigit. Time, 3m. 32H
