No further developments hfivp been made since last report, except thnt the wiozft has been sunk a fe* feet after the completion of preliminaries, but no stone bad been broken down, although it is fully exposed. This, however, will have to be done before sinking is resumed on Monday. The following of the leader in tbe intermediate level has been discos tinned, pending the extension of the main level in a direction to cut the underlay. In anticipation of good results from tbe present operations in this mine, numerous leases hare been taktn up in the immediate vicinity, and newly awakened interest is manifesting itself in the direction of old neglected claims, finch as Morning Star, 13 <nanzi, <fcc, and an impetus has been given to prospecting, which might yet liave tbe happiest re» suits.
