The sinking of a wioza from the low level north was started recently, »nd the reef vras struck in seven feet, showing

payable gold. The 50 feet south level bas now been completed satisfactorily by the contractors. The reef in the south stopes is showing splendid gold in a body ol stone 4 feet thick. Ninety. five tons of stone are now in the paddock, and a c.iushing wil! probably be made shortly.
