UPPER BATTERY.
The wheel and crushing plant are receiving a thorough overhaul previous to commencing operations on a parcel of stone (about 200 tons) from the Just-in-Time. The existing wet weather has somewhat retarded the proves?, and fine weather will be necessary before the coating of tar can be applied to the waterwheel, which is now ready to receive it.
