To thb Warden at Reefton— 1 Hereby apply for a Gold Mining Lease of the lands hereinafter described, in accordance with the Gold Mining Leases Regulations of New Zealand, and I agree, upon the approval of this application, to execute a Lease upon the basis therein stated, if the Governor shall think fit to grant the same. Proposed mode of working the land— Tunnelling and crushing by water power. Precise locality— To the north of the Western Reef lease, east by South Hopeful and South Welcome, on other side by unoccupied land. Term for which lease is required— Fifteen years.
