Any Title, however long and complex, may be investigated at a cost to the Applicant of only Five Shillings ; for if the Title is reected all fees ore leturned, with the exception of tba lamouDt. On all Conveydhces by Deed urfder the old system, the dost of ./registration iujthe Deeds Registry^ over and above the Solicitor's charge, is never less than Fifteen Shillings, frequently very much more ; while-land which has been bought under the provisions of "The Land Translep Act" can be transferred at a total cost of Eleven Shillings where a whole section i9 conveyed ; awd where only partis conveyed (and therefore a fresh Certificate of Title is iiecessitated), of Thinty-one '{Shillings, which is the highest sum allowed by the Act, no matter what the value or area of the land. IJnder the Regulations in force on and after the Ist January; >lß7fc,-the charge for Certificates of Titles issued upon Memoranda of Transfer is reduced to Ten Shillings in all cases where the value of the land is under Ten Pounds. Th i total cost of executing a mortgage or leaso of land, registered under the Act, is Twelve Shillings, uo matter what tlio amount involved.
