OEETIFICATES OP TITLE ARE ABSOLUTELY INDEFEASIBLE. ALL TITLES ARE GUARANTEED Blf THE GOVERNMENT. On all Conveyances by Deed under ihe old system, the cost of registration in the Deeds Kegistry, over and abovo the Solicitor's charge, is never less than Fifteen Shillings, frequently yery much more ; while land which lias been bought under the provisions of " The Land Transfer Act" can be transferred at a total cost of Eleren Shillings where a whole sev-tion iB conveyed j and where only partis conveted (and therefore a fresh Certificate of Title is vecessi tated), of Thinfcy-ono Shillings, which is the highest sum allowed by the Act, no matter what the yalue or area of the land. Under the Regulations in force on and after the Ist January, 187Ji, the charge for Certificates of Titles issued upon Memoranda of Transfer is reduced to Ten Shillings in all cases where the value of the land iB under Ten Pounds. Th i total cost of executing a mortgage or leaso of land, registered under the Act, is Twelve Shillings, no matter what the amount involved. A mortgage may be transferred or discharged, or a lease tuai-sfcrred or surrendered ioi 1 ive Shillings. THESE OTERATIONS INVOLVE NO DELAY. The following are some of the advantiges conlerred by the Land Transfer systeai :— 1. It secures the principal benefits and advantages sought to tie attained in the system of registration of deeds. 2. It renders retrospective investigation ol title unnecessary as to all land re. i gistered. 3. It siuiplilies the Titles to Keal Property lor the future 1 4...
